The Unicorn Drive seeks to achieve the mythical tones of much revered/hyped 'transparent' op-amp overdrive pedals using the humble transistor.
The Unicorn Drive is based off of the Modkits Thunderdrive Deluxe, which itself is a take on single-transistor boosts/overdrives such as the LPB1 and Electra.
All JTH Electronics pedals are hand-wired point-to-point combining old-world construction with modern circuit sensibilities.

Volume - More or less....
Gain - Control the amount of gain
Tone - Brighter to the right, darker to the left.
Boost/Drive- Boost mode pushes the front end of your amp with minimal distortion while the drive setting adds some sizzle for singing leads.

JTHE pedals require 9VDC center negative power supplies (not included) only. These have been successfully tested with the appropriate One Spot, TREX, and SKB power supplies.
JTHE recommends using isolated power supplies for optimal sound quality and minimal signal interference. JTHE pedals have no internal 9V battery access and run only on power supplies.
