The sounds of the '60s owe a huge debt to the classic hollowbody basses issued by brands like Kay. This vintage K5930 features a multi-ply Spruce and Maple body for a classic tone with a warm high end and tight sustain. The Maple neck is topped with a Rosewood fingerboard and bolted to the body with three screws. A single-coil pickup provides all the low-end thunk you'd expect from a bass of this vintage, and is wired to master Volume and Tone controls for easy access to your favorite tones. The Rosewood bridge and tailpiece provide a nice contrast to the classic sunburst finish.
