This slow slew rate dirt box toes the line between fuzz and distortion. The topology consists of a single op amp, hard clipping silicon diodes, followed by a signal buffering transistor. The filtering found in similar pedals has been removed so that the circuit runs wide open at full gain. Making it so there is no need to dial anything but the volume. This pedal is great for slamming an amp, as well as being your sole source of grit.
